How do my agents connect to Google Sheets?
Via an OAuth2 authorisation from your Google account: no password or key to paste. The connection is set up once, from the Atako integration settings.
Is my Google account safe?
Yes. Your credentials are encrypted and never exposed to the agent: it acts through a secure access layer, without ever seeing or handling your Google credentials.
Can I limit what each agent is allowed to do?
Yes, read and write permissions are configured per agent: some can only view a spreadsheet, others can write data into it or manage sheets.
What can an agent actually do in Google Sheets?
Create spreadsheets, read and write values in ranges, append rows to the end of a range, clear data and manage sheets in a spreadsheet, depending on the permissions you grant.
Can I revoke access at any time?
Yes, in one click from the integration settings. The agent immediately loses all access to Google Sheets, no action needed on the Google side.
What Google Sheets data is covered?
Spreadsheets (creation, metadata), values (reading, writing, appending, clearing) and sheets (adding, deleting). The spreadsheet list in your Drive, formatting, charts and sharing are not exposed to agents: give the agent the spreadsheet's address, or let it create one.
